Network World 10 Virtualization Vendors to Watch
Marathon Technologies was awarded for being one of the "Top Ten Virtualization Companies to Watch" by Network World. Marathon was honored for bringing fault tolerant-class availability to virtual environments. Marathon's v-Available defines the next generation of availability software for virtual environments.

Best of VMWorld 2007 Award, New Technology
Marathon Technology's everRun for Citrix XenServer was named a "Best of VMworld Award" winner in the "New Technology" category for its initiative to provide companies of all sizes with effective availability software for virtual servers.
The Best of VMworld Award winners were selected from more than 100 exhibitors at the 2007 VMworld conference sponsored by virtualization software provider VMware Inc. The independent team of judges reviewed and evaluated about 120 products and chose winners based on innovation, value, performance, reliability and ease of use.
"By integrating everRun with XenServer, Marathon is enabling customers of any size to get simple, enterprise-grade virtualization solutions with fault tolerant application availability," said John Bara, vice president of marketing at XenSource (now Citrix).

CIO 10 Virtualization Vendors to Watch in 2008
Marathon Technologies was selected as one of the Top Ten Virtualization Vendors to Watch in 2008 for its everRun VM software by CIO, a leading IT publication. According to CIO, if your organization is deploying virtualization, Marathon Technologies is one of "10 virtualization vendors [that] should be on your radar screen."
CIO Magazine selected companies that were "up-and-coming vendors who add significant value to the virtualization stack."

Computerworld Honors Program 2008 Laureate
Marathon Technologies was selected as a 2008 Laureate by IDG's Computerworld Honors Program. Marathon was awarded this distinction for developing new software, everRun VM.
The Computerworld Honors Program recognizes and documents the achievements of individuals and organizations around the world, whose visionary applications of information technology promote positive social, economic and educational change. Each year, members of the Computerworld Honors Chairmen's Committee, a group of 100 Chairmen/CEOs from leading global IT companies, submit nominations for organizations they feel demonstrated extraordinary use of information technology in 10 distinct categories of industry-related endeavor. Marathon was nominated by Morgan Stanley.

MITX 2008 Technology Awards Finalist
Marathon Technologies was named a finalist for the Fifth Annual Massachusetts Innovation & Technology Exchange (MITX) Technology Awards. Marathon was awarded the distinction for developing everRun VM, the world's first fault-tolerant, high availability software for server virtualization.
The MITX 2008 Technology Awards "recognize innovative technologies developed in the New England area, as well as the individuals and organizations responsible for driving these advancements." MITX is a Boston-based New England association that brings together digital marketing, media and technology professionals to engage in what's next for the web and how it impacts the marketing and business worlds.
